Priddle Law and K97.5 know how important it is to support local — and we have given YOU the chance to win a $100 gift card to one of your favourite Kamloops spots and we want to tell you all about this week’s local hot spot!
This week’s local spot picked by YOU is:
Crooked Crown is a gift boutique, bringing specialty curated items to Kamloops (and the dot com). They love supporting other Canadian brands, and also love female led, founded, and owned, businesses. Their core values include connection, community, and inclusivity, and is a lens we apply when they consider all aspects of their business.
Brianna Shelton is the new owner of Crooked Crown as of Fall 2022. She is a mom of two young boys and married to her high school sweetheart who you may see around here every so often! Born and raised in Kamloops and always loved living here!
The name Crooked Crown originated from Emily (the previous owner) one night. “Fix another woman’s crown, without telling the world that it’s crooked” is the quote that led her to branding the business.
In the past Crooked Crown has supported many charities and fundraisers both financial and in-kind donations. Previously Crooked Crown has proudly partnered with Brennan’s Ugly Sweater Run, which raises funds for the BGC Kamloops (formerly The Boys and Girls Club) Powerstart program. She looks forward to donating to more charities and fundraisers and carrying on supporting our community.
