Welcome to the Vinyl Vault hosted by JC Douglas!
The show that blows dust off your favourite albums to see how they make you feel today. JC goes beyond what you thought you knew about these albums. It’s a listening party, not Wikipedia. A time in the week we can immerse ourselves in those records again.
Do they sound different? What memories do they stir? Can they still move us all those years later?
JC wants to know your answers. Post your feelings, memories, observations on our Facebook page. This is OUR show.

September 7th/8th – The Cult – Electric
After the success of The Cult’s second album “Love” and its monster single “She Sells Sanctuary,” the band went in a direction no one expected. Drafting Rick Rubin to produce and wearing their Led Zeppelin and (especially) AC/DC influences on their sleeves, The Cult delivered an album that sounds simultaneously as familiar and as fresh as it did when it came out 37 years ago. JC examines those influences, and how such a dramatic left turn cemented the band’s success.
